Privacy Policy

Information collected

The platform may collect identity and contact details, pickup information, device questionnaire responses, item images, model outputs, processing status, recovered materials and impact records.

Purpose

Data is used to operate the User–Hub–Cluster workflow, verify 3R decisions, coordinate collection, document authorized downstream processing, improve research models and report aggregated impact.

Images and device data

Do not upload screenshots or photographs containing passwords, financial information or other unrelated personal data. Users should remove SIM cards and storage media where practical. Data wiping requirements can be flagged during submission.

Access and retention

Role-based access limits records to authorized platform users, Hub staff and assigned clusters. Retention should follow NIT Hamirpur policy, project requirements and applicable law. Pilot administrators can remove records when no longer required.

Model transparency

The 3R model is an explainable pilot decision aid. It does not replace expert inspection, safety assessment or statutory authorization.
