The E-Waste Nodal Centre is an established research, technology and implementation initiative connecting citizens, institutions, industries, researchers, government agencies, MSMEs, NGOs, Self-Help Groups and authorized recyclers.

Through research, training, technology development, public participation and stakeholder coordination, the Centre promotes responsible collection, repair, reuse, refurbishment, recycling and material recovery.

About the Centre

Research, public participation and implementation under one platform

The E-Waste Nodal Centre is established at the Centre for Energy Studies, National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, under Project SAP22-NITHami-109. It brings together academic expertise, institutional participation, industry collaboration, community engagement and digital technologies to address electronic waste across its complete lifecycle.

A five-stage process connects the source of e-waste to verified repair, refurbishment, recycling and recovered-material pathways.
